One of the things I like the most about Drupal is the community and how everyone can voice their opinion. Take for instance the latest blog post by Dries Buytaert (the creator of Drupal). WYSIWYG and in-place editing for structured content. In the post Dries talks about a Drupalcon keynote given by Karen McGrane (a great keynote, I recommend you watch) and how his opinion differs to hers. Dries arguments about why he disagrees with Karens keynote are excellently explained, but what is even better then the post itself are the comments below it. Karen responds to Dries blog post, and then they have a bit of a back and forth debating their differences in opinion. It's not an "I'm right, you are wrong" debate, but an informative "here are my reasons for thinking this way" discussion. I think iIt just goes to show the openness and involvement of the Drupal community.
